Sift together the 2 cups flour and the powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Beat together eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice and rind. Sift together the ¼ c. flour and the baking powder, stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes longer. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar. Cool, cut in bars. Makes 30 small. Please double this recipe and bake in two separate 9x13 pans. Remember, don't over bake.

This frosting recipe can be used with your own personal creation, however we will not frost the lemon bars for this dinner, I just thought you'd like a copy. Or frost with:

½ tsp. vanilla
Blend all ingredients. Spread over lemon bars while still warm
