Chicken wings
cup soy sauce
1 cup of pineapple juice
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tbsp. of onion, minced
1 tsp. ginger
cup brown sugar
cup butter

Lorna's modifications:
Double/Triple the recipe. Add 1 cup or more of brown sugar. Can add crushed pineapple with juice.

Take apart the wings at the joint and discard the wing tips. Combine all ingredients except the butter. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Allow chicken to marinate in the marinade for at least 1 hour.

Cook chicken in the butter until brown. Add cup of marinade at a time and simmer for about 15 - 20 minutes. Stir and turn chicken while cooking so that the marinade will start to caramelize on the chicken.
