1 premade 9" deep dish pastry pie shell (Marie Callendar's or Pillsbury)
1 c. chopped deli ham (3.5 oz)
1 c. shredded cheddar (used Kraft triple cheddar cheese)
1 c. shredded Monterey jack
2 green onions, thinly sliced (Optional)
1 c.heavy cream
6 large eggs
1/2 tsp.kosher salt
1/4 tsp.freshly ground black pepper (Optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375°.

After taking pie shell out of freezer, let thaw for a few minutes. Using a fork, pierce pie crust all around.

2. In a large bowl, mix ham, cheeses, and green onions. Place mixture into the pie shell. In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour egg mixture over filling in pie shell.

3. Bake until just set in the center, about 40 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes before slicing.
