1 1/4 C butter
2 1/2 C brown sugar
3/4 C milk
2 1/2 tsp Vanilla
6 1/4 C sugar

Optional
1 C chopped nut for decorating

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan, add brown sugar bring to a boil. Add milk and bring to a boil again.

Remove from heat
Add vanilla and enough sugar for desired spreading consistency, beat several minutes and then spread on cake.

Will ice 3-8 inch layers or 2-9 inch layers.
