1 ½ c butter, softened
2 c. Packed brown sugar
1c. Sugar
1 can solid pack pumpkin (15 oz)
1 egg
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
4 c. All purpose flour
2 c. Quick cooking oats
2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1 tsp. Salt
2c. Semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in the pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to cream mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
