Taco Soup Recipe

2 lbs ground beef
1 lg onion - chopped
2 cans Diced Rotel Tomatoes
1 can yellow hominy
1 can whole kernel corn
2 cans sliced stewed tomatoes
1 can Jalapeno pinto beans
1 can Ranch Style beans or Pinto beans
2 pkgs Taco Seasoning Mix
1 t garlic powder
1 t Cilantro
1 bay leaf
Salt to taste

In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain
Add the meat and onion to a large Dutch oven and add the remaining ingredients.
Add a cup or two of water.
Bring to a boil, then let simmer for at least 30 minutes.
The soup is better if it sets for an hour or so!

Makes a big pot of soup. If making for myself, I cut the recipe in half. Great on a cold night!
