½ c diced, cooked chicken, ham, or pork
3 T butter
1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms
1 green onion, chopped
1 pimiento, chopped
1 tsp dried green pepper
3 T soy sauce
3 c cooked rice
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients, except last two, in top pan of double boiler over direct heat. When butter is melted, stir in rice lightly with fork. Heat over boiling water.

Meanwhile, cook egg in a greased skillet until firm, but not browned. Cut in thin strips and put on rice.
