Ingredients:	Ingredients: 4 c cored, peeled apples 1 c water 4 tbsp lemon juice 2 c sugar(optional)

Directions:	Directions: Combine apples and water in large pot, boiling at med-high heat till apples are tender. Mash apples and add lemon juice(and sugar). Boil over med-high heat for 5 more minutes. Ladle into sterilized jars and water bath quarts 20 minutes and pints 10 minutes
