1½ c. flour
½ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. confectionary sugar
2 tbsp. cream
2 oz. whiskey
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg yolks
1 whole egg beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients starting with the eggs first. Mix until it comes together as a dough. Let rest 10 minutes. Flour a board and roll out very thinly. Cut into rectangles 2½" x 6". Slit the center of the piece in the middle along the long edge and fold through to make a "bow tie." Fry in deep fat at 400 degrees and cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with confectionary sugar. Makes 75 to 100 pieces.
