5 c figs(de-stemmed and halved)
½ c lemon Juice
2 c water
7 c sugar
2 pkg low sugar pectin(pink Sure-Jell)

Directions:
Directions:
Place fruit,water and lemon juice in large pot. Mix ½ c sugar and pectin. stir into pot. Heat to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute stirring gently. Stir in remaining sugar and boil 1 more minute stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Ladle into sterilized jars. Leave ¼" head-space. Water bath 5 minutes for pints, 8 minutes for quarts.
