Turnover Dough

3 - 3 oz. packages of cream cheese at room temperature
1/2 c butter at room temperature
1 1/2 c flour

Mix cream cheese and butter. Add flour. Work with fingers until smooth. Chill at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450º
Roll dough to 1/8" and cut with 3" cutter
Put in a bit of filling and fold over
Press edges together
Prick top for steam
Put on ungreased sheet pan and bake about 15 minutes

Mushroom Filling

3 T butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. mushrooms, finely chopped
1/4 t thyme
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 T flour
1/4 c sour cream

Heat butter and cook onion. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring about 3 minutes. Add seasonings and sprinkle with flour. Stir in sour cream gently until thickened.
