1 C soft butter
1/2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 3 ingredients thoroughly. Sift together and stir in the next 3 ingredients. Mix in the chopped nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet(cookies do not spread). Bake until set, but not brown, about 10-12 min. at 400º. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
