2 c (8 oz) shredded natural cheddar cheese
1 c pitted dates, chopped
1/2 c sweet cream butter, softened
1/2 c toasted sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 1/2 qt mixer bowl combine all ingredients except almonds,
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until well blended,

Shape mixture into a large ball.
Roll in toasted almonds,

Cover; refrigerate

Remove from refrigerator 1/2 hour before serving,.

Serve with assorted crackers
