1/2 c butter or margarine
1 c sugar
3/4 cu firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c milk
1 egg
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp grated orange peel
2 1/2 c fresh cranberries - coarsely chopped/grated

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together
Beat in milk and egg
Mix and sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into creamed mixture.
Blend well.
Stir in orange peel and cranberries
For each cookie mound 2 level tablespoons onto a well-greased cookie sheet,
Space mounds about 2 inches apart
Bake at 375º for 15-18 minutes.
