½ c. butter
½ c. flour plus, 1 T
½ c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
pinch of salt
pinch of paprika


Directions:
Directions:
In small mixing bowl combine butter and cheese until fluffy and soft. Combine flour,
salt and paprika in a separate bowl and add to butter mixture. When blended (will
be stiff) turn unto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. Roll out dough to
about ¼ inch thickness and cut into straws about ½" wide and 3-4" long. Bake on
the top rack at 400° for about 8-10 minutes. Be sure to watch as they can get dark
brown around the edges quickly. Allow to cool and serve. Store in air tight container.

I do like to use my hand mixer to blend the butter and cheese, but when
adding the cheese mix by hand.
