3-4 lbs Red & white potatoes
1 or 2 onions, chopped
1 can celery soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 stick butter & bacon drippings
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp minced garlic
1 lb American cheese
Ham cubes
Milk
Cornstarch
Parsley flakes
1 cup chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cube potatoes and cook until tender. Drain.
In large stockpot, Saute onions in butter and bacon drippings.
Add drained potatoes, soups, ham cubes, garlic and salt & pepper to taste. Add 1 cup chicken broth and 2 cans water. Mix thoroughly while cooking on medium heat. Add American cheese and heat until melted. Add milk if you prefer a thinner soup, or sub 1 can milk for one of the cans of water.
Add parsley flakes and serve.
