3Tbsp butter
1 medium onion, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
2 potatoes, diced
1C water
2 1lb. cans creamed corn (contributors note: add 2 cans regular corn, drained, as well)
2½C milk (chef's preference of fat content)
1C light cream
1tsp basil
1Tbsp parsley
¼tsp black pepper
1tsp onion salt
1tsp celery salt

Directions:
Directions:
On medium heat, add butter to soup pot, melt. To this add diced onion, celery and potatoes, saute for 10minutes. Add water and simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in corn, milk, light cream and seasonings. Continue to simmer all together for 20 minutes.

This is a delicious and easy corn chowder recipe that Tricia used to make! She always added more regular corn because it added more texture and robust corn flavor!
