2 - 2 ½ pounds of stew meat
1 can of peas
6-10 carrots, cut in 1"-2" chunks
2 coarsely chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of red wine
4 or more large potatoes, cut into 1" pieces
1- 2 bay leaves
fresh mushrooms

Mix it all together in a covered Dutch oven and cook it slowly for about 5 hours.
