1 C Water
1 C Light Karo Syrup
4 C Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon Oil
1 tsp Red food coloring
1 Box powdered sugar
1 candy Thermometer

Directions:
Directions:
Generously sprinkle powdered sugar on 3 cookie sheets. Set pans aside. Mix water, syrup, and sugar in 2 quart sauce pan. Attach thermometer to pot. Boil mixture on high (stirring constantly) until it reaches 290 degrees. At 290 turn off burner and stir in oil and food coloring. Carefully pour hot syrup mixture onto powdered sugar lined cookie sheets. Let candy cool and break into bite size pieces. Store in airtight containers. It makes a great gift. You may use different oils, ie. Spearmint, Lemon, Peppermint
