2 tbsp salad oil
1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves, crushed
8 oz can tomato sauce
2 ½ cups canned whole tomatoes
1 ½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp oregano
8 oz broad lasagne noodles
½ lb sliced mozzarella cheese
¾ lb ricotta cheese
½ c. parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the salad oil in a skillet, add the hamburger, crumbled, and the garlic cloves. Brown. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes(break the tomatoes up with a spoon), and 3 spices. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until it's slightly thickened.
Meanwhile cook lasagne noodles in boiling water (about 20 minutes). Drain and rinse. Fill a 13"x9" casserole dish w/alternate layers of noodles, the 3 cheeses, and tomato-meat sauce. Heat in oven 375º about 20 minutes. Tastes better if you let it sit all day, or even over night.

Personal Notes:
My mother's recipe via her friend Marg Egbert. Was 1 of my 2 favorite entrees for my mother to make for my birthday.
