3 T. sugar
1 t. paprika
1 t. ground cinnamon
½ t. ground cumin
Pinch of ground cloves
¾ t. salt
1 large egg white
2 c. walnut halves (½ lb.)
2 c. pecan halves (½ lb.)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º with rack in the middle of oven. Lightly oil a baking sheet.
2. Whisk together sugar, spices and salt in a small bowl.
3. Whisk egg white in a medium bowl until frothy; then stir in nuts. Add spice mix; toss to coat.
4. Spread in even layer in pan. Bake, stirring 1-2 times until dry and toasted; approximately 20 minutes.
5. Loosen nuts from pan and cool.
