Ingredients: 1 1/2 c flour 1 tsp salt 3 tsp baking powder 2 tsp sugar 1 egg milk oil
After you batter is ready, you can add in extras such as: - Cinnamon - Chocolate Chips - Blueberries - etc.

Directions:Mix dry ingredients together
Beat egg with a fork and add to dry ingredients
Slowly add 1/4 cup of milk to mixture and stir. Add additional milk until desire consistency is achieved
Heat oiled griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Cast iron has the most even heating.
Test if pan is hot enough by flicking a few water droplets on the pan. At the correct temperature, water droplets should dance around on the skillet before evaporating.
Pour batter on pan. The top of the batter will bubble. When most of the bubbles have burst and the top begins to look dry, the pancake is ready to flip. The edge of the second side can be lifted with the spatula to determine if the pancake is done. |
