3 eggs beaten
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup melted butter/margarine or oil
1½ - 1¾ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla (if not using anise, add ½ tsp. more of vanilla)
½ tsp. anise (Optional)

TOPPING:
Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Add and beat all ingredients in order as listed above;
Spray griddle/pizzelles maker with cooking spray;
Drop by small teaspoonfuls (iced tsps.) onto center of "griddle";
Close lid - clip handles quickly; allow to cook until steaming stops - about 30 to 60 seconds;
Remove with fork;

Allow to cool - dust with powdered sugar; Store in airtight container.
