12-16oz ground turkey sausage
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 medium onion
6 garlic cloves, minced
(2) 14.5 oz cans reduced sodium chicken broth
1¾ c water
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
9 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
6 oz fresh or frozen baby spinach, coarsely chopped
2¼ tsp mined fresh basil (¾ tsp dried)
¼ tsp pepper
dish crushed red pepper flakes
Optional: Shredded parmesan cheese

Crumble sausage into a Dutch over and add onion. Cook and stir over medium heat until no longer pink. Add garlic. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Add broth, water and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Stir in tortellini and return to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 5-8 minutes or until tortellinis are tender, stirring occasionally. Add the spinach, basil, pepper and pepper flakes. Cook 2-3 minutes longer until spinach is wilted. Serve with cheese, if desired.
