1/2 lb hamburg
1 medium green pepper chopped
1 medium onion chopped
1 c long grain rice
2 c cooked tomatoes
2 or 3 slices of bacon
2 or 3 sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 c cut celery
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder
oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice according to package directions. Fry bacon until crisp and remove from pan and dice. Add hamburger and cook until brown and drain off fat. When meat is done add pepper, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, parsley, bacon and spices with celery. Add cooked rice and taste for seasoning. Reduce heat to low and cover for 1/2 hour. If dry add tomato juice or water. Cheese can also be added as can bean sprouts.
