1 box white cake mix with pudding in mix
3 eggs
½ cup oil
½ cup water
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp each butter extract and almond extract
2 c. mashed fig preserves
1 c. chopped pecans, optional
Powdered sugar for sprinkling cake

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Generously grease bundt pan with shortening, lightly flour.
Blend cake mix with water, oil, eggs, baking soda and extracts.
Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.
Add figs. Gently stir into cake mixture.
Pour into baking pan.
Bake 50-60 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched near center.
Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
