1 - 4 lb. chicken plus 6 legs (or 3 legs and thighs)
4 C. water
1/2 C. sweet paprika (Hungarian)
1 TBS half sharp Hungarian paprika
2 medium onions - chopped
1 C tomato juice
1 Tbs Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in 2 tsp of oil. Add paprika, salt, tomato juice and water. Add chicken and cook until tender. (about 2 hours) If you aren't fond of dark meat you could add breasts chicken instead of the legs. The bones give the broth flavor.
Serve over Mrs. Weiss's Klusky noodles

This recipe was handed down from my grandmother, Mary Pezze. This was always one of my favorite meals when I went to visit her in Mayville. She often served this with wilted lettuce salad.
