12 fluid oz tomato-based chili sauce
1 (16 oz) can whole cranberry sauce
27 oz Bavarian-style sauerkraut,, undrained
1 c water
1 c packed brown sugar

1 (16 oz) package frozen meatballs
OR
Combine 3 # ground chuck, 1 c bread crumbs, 1 pkg onion soup mix, 3 eggs. Form into 1 1/2" meatballs and brown in a skillet.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine chili sauce, cranberry sauce, sauerkraut, water, and brown sugar. Mix well. Pour sauce over meatballs in a slow cooker. Stir

Cook, covered, at medium temperature for 4 hours. Stir occasionally to coat meatballs.

I remember Grandma making these and I loved them immediately! I got this recipe from her and I made them for party buffets. Even if you don't like sauerkraut, you'll enjoy these.
