2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey
1 yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup water
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon yellow or Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
¾ cup BBQ sauce

Directions:
In a skillet, brown the meat and onions until cooked through. Add garlic and cook for one minute longer. Once done, transfer to your crock pot. While meat and onions are cooking, combine garlic powder, salt, pepper, water, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar and ketchup. Add sauce mixture to crock pot and mix well. Cook on low for 4 hours then serve on bun of choice.

This recipe freezes well so feel free to double or triple your batch and freeze! When freezing, skip cooking in the crock pot and just freeze the prepared mixture. Then thaw and place in crock pot for four hours when ready to eat.
