Spare ribs (she didn't list how many!)

1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c vinegar
2 Tbsp sou sauce
1 can cubed pineapple (no juice)
1/2 c water
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Put ribs in long pyrex dish - salt and pepper them and cook for an hour at 350º - use no extra grease,.
Turn them over after 1/2 hour
About 10 minutes before the hour for the ribs is up - make the sauce out of the remaining ingredients, boil until liquid becomes clear. Taste - can add more soy sauce if desired
Pour liquid over the ribs and cook for an additional 45 minutes to an hour.
Turn ribs over once during this last baking period,
Use the sauce to put on ride like gravy.
