1 box white cake mix
1 small box strawberry jello
1/2 cup milk
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries, sweetened with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar

Frosting:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup finely diced or mashed sweetened strawberries
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine cake mix and strawberry jello. Add milk and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in strawberries.
Bake in greased and floured (or use Baker's Joy) round cake pans at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in middle of cake comes out clean.
Cool in pans 10 minutes, then invert onto cooling racks. Cool completely before frosting.

Frosting:
Beat butter with electric mixer 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in strawberries. If frosting is not thick enough, add a little powdered sugar until reach desired consistency.
