1 pound ground pork (cooked brown)
1 bunch celery (large bunch, chopped)
1 yellow onion (chopped)
1 can (8 ounce) mushrooms (drained)
1 cup water
1 cup cold water
3 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tsp molasses
1 can (8 ounce) water chestnuts (drained)
1 can (10 ounce) chop suey (vegetables, rinsed and drained)
4 cups rice (hot cooked)
1 bag (8 ounce) dry chow mein noodles (heated for serving)

Directions:
Brown meat. Add celery, onion, mushrooms; saute. Add 1 cup water, cook covered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a separate cup, mix 1 cup cold water with cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, bouillon cube and molasses; stir, then add to meat and vegetable mixture. Cook uncovered, stirring until thickened (I would add cornstarch at last so doesn't break).

Add water chestnuts then chop suey vegetables. Simmer approximately 20 minutes uncovered.

Serve with rice and crisp chinese noodles.
