Directions:
Mix the green bud leaf, olive oil and 5 cups of water into a pressure cooker and cap it off and cook it for an hour. When it starts boiling turn down the heat to low so the water doesn’t cook out as it is the water that keeps the stuff from burning. When the timer goes off at the 60 minute period, take the cooker off the stove. It is now time to extract the liquid.

Before you start crushing you need to set up the container by fixing the cheese cloth to its top so the liquid is filtered, as we do not want any pulp in it. Load the leafy mixture into the crusher and press the liquid out through the connecting tube.

As the liquid flows through the tube you will notice the change in its color to a deep green as it oil flowing out in the liquid. Once all the liquid is extracted, remove the cheese cloth carefully making sure no pulp falls out into the container. Squeeze the remaining liquid from the cheese cloth and lay it aside. By now you will notice two distinct layers in the container. The water and oil in the liquid mixture has separated: the layer at the bottom is water and the upper layer is oil! The container can then be placed in the fridge and left overnight to solidify.

The following day you find that the mixture has solidified into two different layers. Now we are interested in the upper layer, which is the infused oil. Using a large spoon scoop the frozen oil out into a small container. Make sure you are scooping only the green stuff which is the cannabis cooking oil. Avoid the brown part as that is the water. Then put in back in the freezer after taking out only as much as you want to use. Leaving it out will make it rancid.

Remember to wear gloves throughout the process as you don’t want to end up on a high before the job is done! The cannabis cooking oil can be very potent. You can get stoned and you may even have a psychedelic experience!

Be cautious and use it in small quantities since it is very potent. First time users are warned not to have a second helping for at least 30 to 45 minutes- do so only after gauging its effect on you! A half cup of cannabis infused olive oil is equivalent to one ounce of marijuana! This oil has versatile qualities. It can be used in cooking, as a pain reliever, as massage oil, or even as a moisturizer! Whatever you use it for, remember it will give you a very good high!
