6-8 large bell peppers, stems and seeds removed
1 pound ground beef
1 pound Jimmy Dean's pork sausage, mild
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 small onion
2 eggs
1 cup instant rice
1 tsp salt
1 large jar spaghetti sauce, any kind
1 large can drain stewed tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meat, garlic, onion, eggs, rice, salt together until well mixed. Stuff meat mixture into cored peppers. Put in large stock pan or slow cooker. Cover with sauce and tomatoes.
Stove top: Bring mixture to boil. Lower to simmer for at least 2 hours.
Slow Cooker: Place in slow cooker and cover with sauce and tomatoes. Cook on high for 1 hour and then on low for another 2 hours.
May add corn or cilantro to meat mixture for a more ethnic flavor.
