Ingredients: 2 Large Cloves of Garlic (not a bulb just 2 cloves) Salt (use table salt DO NOT use Kosher or Fresh Ground - makes it too salty) Fresh Ground Black Pepper Balsamic Vinegar Olive Oil
Romaine Lettuce Cucumbers Celery Tomatoes Red Onion
Wooden Salad bowl and wooden spoons works the best - if you don't have use what you have on hand ;0
(The picture show exact brands that I used for dressing - you can use any Brand you want but overtime I found these to be the best and most flavorful!)

Directions: |
Directions:In wooden bowl shake salt to lightly cover bottom of bowl, same with black pepper.
Use garlic press and press garlic into bowl.
Use wooden spoon to grind up garlic with salt & pepper (kind of like mortar and pestle).
Using the wooden spoon you will do a ratio of 2:1 (vinegar to oil) and maybe a touch more oil. i.e. 2 spoonful's of Vinegar and 1 spoonful of Oil.
Stir together and taste - adjust taste by adding what you think it needs.
Wash and cut up Salad Makings, stir dressing before you put all makings in bowl, toss with dressing. A little fresh ground pepper for looks and taste.
Serve and enjoy! |
