4 c. diced apples
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (plain)
1½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs (unbeaten)
¾ c. cooking oil
2 tsp. vanilla
¾ c. chopped nuts
FROSTING:
1 cube butter
1 c. brown sugar
¼ c. milk
2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples and sugar in large bowl. Let stand ½ hr. Add unbeaten eggs and cooking oil and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Pour into 9x13" pan. Bake @ 350º 45 to 55 minutes. FROSTING (Caramel): Boil together and add powdered sugar.
