1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/4 c. rum
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan combine sugar, flour, butter and salt. Cook slow until the sugar melts. Stir and add the cream. Bring to a boil. remove from the heat and whisk in the rum and nuts. Serve over ice cream or cake.
