Ingredients:  
1 cup flour
4 tbsp. cornstarch & dash of cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 tbsp. strawberry yogurt (to make a pink colour)
150 ml. water
Mix all above for a soft consistency for about 3 minutes
Cover with saran wrap for 15 minutes

Syrup (for above)
3 cups sugar
1 & 1/2 cup water
2 tsp lemon juice
Mix and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes over medium heat
Leave on low for about 2 minutes
Set aside to cool

Deep fry over medium heat,
Pour flour mixture in fry pan through a triangle wax paper or icing bag in circles
forming a 3" circle, you can make a a heart or a triangle.
Flip over once until brown.
Drain and let it cool.

Dip in warm sugar mixture for half a minute and drain.
Serve with icing sugar or fruit.

She passed away in June of 2020 at the age of 101.
