¼ c plus 2 tbsp sugar
¾ c butter, softened
¾ tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease jellyroll pan (15-1/2" x 10-1/2" x 1").

Beat flour, sugar, butter and salt in large bowl on medium speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Press firmly and evenly in pan. Bake until light golden brown, about 20 minutes. Prepare filling.

4 eggs, beaten lightly
1¼ c sugar
1¼ c light or dark corn syrup (like Karo)
3 tbsp butter, melted
1½ tsp vanilla
2½ c chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together, EXCEPT PECANS, until well-blended; stir in pecans. Pour over baked layer - Spread evenly. Return to oven and bake until filling is set - About 25 minutes. Cool completely and cut into desired-size squares. ENJOY!
