¾ cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 can coconut
2 eggs slightly beaten
3 tbsp butter (melted)
½ tsp salt

Directions:

Soak milk and coconut together beforehand. Then, mix all ingredients together and add to piecrust. Bake at 350º until browned.

This recipe is from Frances Oliver, a friend of the Richardson family. It is easy to make and Margaret Richardson and daughters often made it for church suppers, where it was a huge hit.
