1 medium-sized chopped Onion
1 lb green beans cut into 11/2 inch pieces
1 heaped tablespoon of urad dahl
1 heaped tablespoonful of cumin
1 medium chopped tomato
2 small chopped chillies
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil

Directions:
Directions:
1 At medium heat add oil to pot
Add onions, urad dahl and cumin and allow braise for about 2-3 minutes.
2 Add beans that have been cut into 2 pieces and then cut into each piece into 3 lengthwise.
3 Add the tomato and salt and allow to cook until al dente
