3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup melted margarine or butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cup sifted self-rising flour
60 large milk chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine brown sugar, peanut butter, and melted butter or margarine in a mixing bowl. Beat until thoroughly blended. Add egg and vanilla, blend well. Add flour and blend well. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour. Remove dough from refrigerator and shape it into 1-inch balls. Place balls on ungreased baking pan or cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes (Do not overbake). Remove from oven and press chocolate kisses into the center of each cookie. Return to oven for 3 minutes. (Watch to avoid burning chocolate.) Remove from oven and let cool completely.
