2 T. hot cocoa mix
1/3 C. heavy cream
a few drops of vanilla (optional)
mini-marshmallows, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

1) Whip the cream and cocoa powder (and vanilla, if using) together until you get the consistency of whipped cream.

2) Serve on its own in a mug or mason jar, garnished as desired (see below) and a spoon.

3) Or put a dollop on top of warm or cold milk or chocolate milk.

This is sort of a quick chocolate mousse. Serve plain, or garnish with colored mini-marshmallows or Lucky Charms marshmallows, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, shaved chocolate or chocolate chips.

Consider using a good quality hot cocoa mix, such as Cadbury cocoa powder.
