1/2 c sugar
2 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
12 oz cottage cheese
1/2 # wide egg noodles, uncooked
1/2 stick butter
Corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Spray casserole with Pam.
Melt butter in casserole.
In bowl, beat eggs.
Add milk, sugar, vanilla, and cottage cheese. Mix well
Add uncooked noodles into egg mixture.
Pour into casserole with melted butter.
Top with corn flakes.
Bake 45-50 minutes at 350º

May be doubled but bake at 350º for 1 hour to 1 1/14 hour depending on depth of the casserole

Barbara started bringing this to Malm's home for Thanksgiving and Christmas back in the 80's. It was a wonderful addition to the buffets. Bryan especially liked it and asked for it as he got older. When he was in the Air Force, he and his crew were invited to his sergeant's home for Thanksgiving and he needed to bring a dish to pass. I got a call and I emailed him this recipe.
