1 1/2 c sifted all-purpose flour
1 c melted butter
2 c warm milk
4 c warm chicken stock
3 tsp salt
4 Tbsp dry sauterne or sherry wine

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour into melted butter. Gradually add milk and chicken stock stirring constantly. Cook until thick and smooth, then simmer 5 minutes, adding salt and wine toward end. Let cool about 15 minutes before pouring over top of casserole. If too thick, add 1 or 2 Tbsp of milk
