1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar

In a mixer bowl, beat together cream cheese, butter and vanilla till light and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating till smooth.

If you want to make chocolate icing, add 1/4 - 1/2 cup baking cocoa (depending on how dark you want it).
