1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, room temp
2 lb bag of powdered sugar
Flavoring (peppermint, vanilla, or cinnamon)
Food coloring
granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place cream cheese in mixing bowl, and add powdered sugar until you reach the consistency of play dough. Will be most, or all of the bag. Add a drop or two of flavoring, and food coloring, mix well and taste. Add more flavoring if desired.
To make mints, take a marble-sized portion of dough, roll it in sugar, press into a mold, or flatten ball with a fork. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

My mom made these for my wedding. Whenever she made them, we kept them in a coffee can in layers between parchment paper, in the freezer.
