¾ c. sugar
1 c butter flavored shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 ¼ c. flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tbsp milk
10 oz chocolate chips
½ c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugars until well mixed. Add vanilla and egg and continue mixing. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl and then add to creamed mixture (a little at a time and mix well) Add milk and mix well. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes
