1 c brown sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs, beaten
3 tsp soda
3 tbsp milk
3 c flour
1 c bourbon whiskey
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 lb seedless raisins ( about 3 c )
1 ½ lbs pecans ( 6 cups )
1 lb candied pineapple
½ lb candied cherries
¼ lb dates

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add well - beaten eggs. Add flour and soda that have been shifted together. Add milk and ½ of the whiskey. Add spices and remainder of whiskey.
Add fruit and nuts which have been cut in small pieces. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in a 270º oven. Makes around 10 dz cookies.
