1 peck of cucumbers (cut or sliced for pickles)
3 quarts of water
1 quart vinegar
1 cup salt
several sprigs of dill
several cloves of garlic
several clean grape leaves

Directions:
Directions:
In 7 quart jars add 1 grape leave, 3 to 4 cloves of garlic and 1 sprig of dill. Wash the cucumbers and pack in the jars.
Heat together the water, vinegar, and salt. Pour hot vinegar in jars. Clean the rims of the jars then put lids and rings on them. Hot water bath until the green coloring leaves. Do not over boil them so that they will stay crunchy.
